About GrowthKit
Built by a dad. Trusted by thousands.
GrowthKit started as a personal project — a better way to track my own kids' growth without handing their health data to a server somewhere. It turns out a lot of parents wanted the same thing.

Hi, I'm Srivishnu
I'm a software engineer and app developer — and a dad of two. When my first child was born, I found myself frustrated with every growth tracking solution out there: they were either clunky, required cloud accounts, or buried the actual percentile data behind paywalls.
I wanted something that did the math right (WHO LMS method, not approximations), kept the data on-device, and didn't treat my child's health information like a product to monetise. So I built it.
GrowthKit is now used by tens of thousands of parents worldwide. Every feature you see in the app was informed by what I wanted as a parent — accurate data, clean charts, and printable reports I could bring to the pediatrician.
Editorial standards
GrowthKit publishes 60+ tools and 100+ parenting articles. Here's how we ensure every piece of content meets the same bar.
Official data only
All growth reference data comes directly from the World Health Organization Child Growth Standards and CDC growth reference publications. No third-party interpretations.
Sources cited
Every calculation method — LMS Box-Cox percentile math, corrected age for prematurity, WHO velocity references — is documented and traceable back to the primary publication.
Medical disclaimer on every tool
GrowthKit tools are for informational reference, not medical advice. Every tool clearly states this. We are building a parenting aid, not replacing your pediatrician.
Written for parents, not clinicians
Content is reviewed to ensure it's accurate AND understandable. We translate clinical definitions ('3rd percentile') into plain language ('1 in 33 children') without sacrificing precision.
Data sources
Every number GrowthKit shows comes from these primary, peer-reviewed, internationally recognised datasets. Not approximations. Not scraped values. Direct, official data.
Questions or feedback?
I read every email personally. Whether it's a bug, a feature request, or a question about your child's data, I'm happy to help.
